“Magnum Research is proud to be a sponsor for Big Iron TV,” says Jodi DePorter, Director of Marketing at Kahr Firearms Group. “Max Prasac is a long time supporter of our products and is a great representative for our brand. We believe his series will spread awareness and appreciation for big bore handguns, like the BFR, and their versatility.”

Prasac has earned a reputation as a big bore handgun authority. He is an outdoor writer and author of the “Gun Digest Book of Hunting Revolvers,” “Big-Bore Revolvers” and the “Gun Digest Book of Ruger Revolvers,” specializing in terminal ballistics and big-game handgun hunting. Prasac’s love of handguns began at an early age with a CO2 pellet pistol and later expanded to a Smith & Wesson .38 Special. Prasac also completed a tour in the United States Marine Corps and earned a degree from George Washington University before traveling extensively to perform disaster relief work in the war-torn Balkans. A regular contributor to NRA publications, Prasac often writes for the NRA’s American Hunter magazine as well as Gun Digest magazine, and is a Life Member of the National Rifle Association. Originally from Southern California, Prasac currently resides in Virginia with his family, two dogs and a turtle.
