Confirm the firearm is unloaded before shipping.Contact Magnum Research Technical Support Department to receive a Return Authorization number before shipping a firearm to the factory. If you are having a FFL dealer send in your firearm please have the dealer complete the RA form or fill out the RA using the dealers information. You can do this online (RA request form) or by calling 218-746-3459. Federal law prohibits anyone without a Federal Firearms License from shipping a handgun by United States Postal mail. Please check for any additional state or local regulations. With your return, enclose a letter that references your Return Authorization number and includes: name; address; phone number; and firearm model and serial number. The letter should describe, in detail, the problem being experienced or work to be done.
A. Non-warranty service will be billed at $65/hour + cost of parts + shipping and handling. $70 shipping for rifles and $90 for handguns.

A. It is difficult for us to keep track of the ever changing laws in the different states. The best way to make certain that you are compliant to the laws in your state is to check with your local office of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) or your local firearms dealer.

A. You must purchase your firearm from a Firearm Dealer with the appropriate Federal Firearms License. For a list, please consult our website at www.magnumresearch.com and check the “where to buy” section.
A. Typical turn-around for repairs is 7-10 business days once the item is received. BFR service and repair is generally 1-3 months. Larger requests such as an octagon barrel, black nitride, and other custom work can be over 6 months depending on backlog.
